No doubt paintball hurts more than airsoft, haha. I played a match of paintball a while ago and… well… airsoft just doesn’t hurt anymore. But I don’t play either of these games because they hurt or not, I only play airsoft because it’s cheaper. That and you can’t really snipe in paintball.
I’ll probably end up getting a Tippmann A5 soon enough and modding it to look like a UMP.45.
in paintballing the balls move at 200-300fps compaired to the wide variety of airsoft 100-400+fps. You may think air-soft hurt worse but take in consideration of weight, paintballs (weigh a lot more) hurt and travel farther and are much more accurate. Some paintball guns have a hopper that is of to the side so you can see down the barrel (sites). any questions?
no, paintballs can not shoot as accuratly as airsoft guns. Mainly because of imperfections in the markers, they have seams so they don’t fly perfectly strait.
No, I mean, if there was a target 300 feet out, could I hit it? I can do this with most of my airsoft guns now, but I’ve heard that paintball guns have less accuracy.
yes, almost all paintball guns have a velocity adjuster that lets you turn up your gun to these speeds, while this is fine for playing with friends, most feilds usally only allow 300fps as a max velocity

ya most woodsball guns such as the tippmann A5 have a built on sight. you can either use this or correct your aim as you shoot
How do you aim in paintball? Do you just shoot and correct your aim as the rounds land? Is there any way to get a hopper that feeds from the side of the marker, so you can use an optic?
Noob questions I know, but I’d like to switch from airsoft to paintball. And I’d like to not go broke by buying a RAP4 marker.

@Fytox2 That wasn’t the original owner either dude. I made these for Special Ops Paintball. They were each originally released about 6 months apart. They accompanied blackcell product release emails.
this video is amazing but if i was the editor I would have put gun sounds instead of regular paintball guns sounds because they arent very loud (exept during the indoor scenes)

oh okay, i didn’t know you had to change the barrel out too
when you fire simuntion is from a real gun… simuntion is a 9mm round, but you have to switch out the barrel of the weapon for them to fit, I.E. an m-4 you remove the upper reciever and replace it with a 9mm barrel, beyond that you have a platic magazine that fits 9mm rounds… i have a bunch of pics on my myspace….

its pretty much the same in the US too, they now use whats called “simunitions” its like a paintball but only, they put it in the actual rounds for the type of the gun you are shooting.
